Mobility (aka Flexibility)
Our Mobility classes combine a variety of flexibility exercises to improve your range of motion. Dynamic and static stretching, corrective exercise, yoga, myofascial release, PNF and more. The goal is to restore (and retain) optimal movement.
Mobility is vital for fitness and health for several reasons. It enhances joint range of motion, promotes smoother movements, and reduces injury risk through proper alignment. Flexible muscles can contract and elongate more effectively, crucial for strength training, like kettlebell exercises, improving form and strength output.
Mobility also aids in postural stability, maintaining proper posture and reducing strain on the spine, which can alleviate discomfort from prolonged sitting. Additionally, stretching post-exercise helps reduce muscle soreness, promoting quicker recovery and consistent workouts.
